Performax Hockey players @ Lake Placid Feb 2007

USA Hockey Adult Tournament

On the ice our team did not fair too well against the younger quicker teams especially on the very large ice surfaces at the Olympic Center.

However, off the ice we had a blast and soaked in the Olympic spirit in the small town that reminded me of Niagara on the Lake. We stayed at a Hilton right on Main St over looking the lake and we were within walking distance of almost everything. As you can see in the pictures, the view of the frozen lake and the mountains was awesome. Besides the hockey and Main St we had time to visit the Olympic sites for the ski jumps and the bobsled. And even had 6 of our most daring players (including myself!?!) do the 4 man bobsled run.

We managed to get home safe and sound before the big snow storm Super Bowl Sunday. Well at least most of us. Looking forward to next year's adventure already !
