Frank Albert MS, CSCS, HFI

Director of Performax Hockey Systems.

Frank is a Master Level Coach with USA Hockey, a certified strength and conditioning specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a certified member of the American College of Sports Medicine. Frank is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Applied Sports Psychology, the Strength Coach for the 2000 National Champion Buffalo Gladiators Minor Professional Football Team and a health and human services administrator. Frank has coached multiple sports and has 25 years experience coaching and training hockey players from youth to professional levels.

Chris Ciamaga

Hockey Instructor.

Chris is a NHL referee. He is a former Captain of the Buffalo State Bengals Men's Hockey Team and has a BA in Health and Fitness. Chris trains referees and players in powerskating and hockey skills while maintaining a rigorous training program for himself.

Peter Dipirro

Personal/Sport Trainer.

Peter has trained area athletes, bodybuilders and fitness enthusiasts for over twenty-three years. He is a former collegiate track athlete and Physical Education Major from Black Hills State College and is ACE Certified. Pete has designed tests and programs for hockey and has experience working with players at the professional level. Peter opened Downtown Fitness and Massage in 1997.

Mike Dombkiewicz

Hockey Instructor/Fitness Consultant.

Mike is a four year veteran of the Ontario Hockey League having played for Guelph and Owen Sound as well as in the East Coast Hockey League. Mike attended the University of New Brunswick where he competed consecutive years in the Canadian National College Championships. Mike is a multi-sport athlete, veteran hockey instructor and a fitness consultant and our lead instructor for our adult instructional programs. Richie Dunn

Hockey Instructor.

Richie is a member of the Buffalo Sabres’ Alumni. Richie played professional hockey for 13 years in Buffalo, Hartford and in Europe. Originally from Boston, Mass., Richie currently coaches and referee’s hockey in Western New York.

Ed Ellis

League Administrator-Performax Hockey Systems.

Ed is the League Administrator responsible for the summer and winter league scheduling, team and player statistics, team collections, and player registration & insurance. He is the Tournament Director of the Greater Buffalo Senior Hockey Invitational. The Programs Administrator for the adult 100 and 200 level, women's and goalie instructional programs. And the Tournament Director of the Labatt's Blue Pond Hockey Tournaments in Buffalo managed by Performax Hockey.

Jason Gerhard

Hockey Instructor/Fitness Consultatnt.

Jason is a former professional player and serves as a fitness consultant. He is a veteran hockey instructor and fitness consultant.

Chris Hajt

Hockey Instructor.

Chris is a veteran of the Ontario Hockey League, American Hockey League and has played in the NHL. He is a veteran hockey instructor and plans to return to competitive play this fall.

Gaetano Lefebvre

Consultant/Physical Therapist/Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

Gaetano served as the physical therapist and strength and conditioning coach for the Montreal Canadians for 22 years. He is recognized as a foremost expert in topics of training hockey players and athletes of various sports. Gaetano has intensely researched strength and fitness data, body composition measures, quantified body postural ability tests and anaerobic and aerobic tests into predictive information for developing and drafting elite level players.

Tim Roesch.

Senior Hockey Instructor.

Tim assists the lead instructors in the Performax Hockey Instructional Programs and is an active participant in the league.

John Tucker

Hockey Instructor.

John is a 13 year NHL veteran and former Buffalo Sabre and Tampa Bay Lightning player. John was a second round pick of the Sabres and long established himself as a playmaking center in the National Hockey League. He has has been conducting hockey clinics in Canada and the Tampa Bay area since 1990.
